Interested in joining our Preferred Vendor Program but have some questions? Feel free to email [email protected] with any questions you may have. Below are some frequently asked questions other vendors have asked us in the past:
“What if I get too much business and can’t keep up? Can I stop at anytime?”
Yes. You can cancel at anytime.
“Why isn’t the pricing the same for all vendors, regardless of what type of vendor they are?”
Our pricing reflects the value of the customer to each vendor type. For example, the total cost of some catering services can be thousands and thousands of dollars whereas the cost of an officiant can be a few hundred dollars. Therefore, the value of a wedding couple to a caterer is far more than to an officiant. That’s why a caterer pays more to be on our list than an officiant.
“Other venues don’t charge to be on their preferred list, why does Ever After Farms?”
You get what you pay for, in business. Whereas other venues may put vendors on their list for free, it doesn’t bring much (if any), new business to those vendors. Most wedding venues are unable to handle high volumes of bookings and are content with drastically limiting how many events they do each year. Meanwhile, each individual Ever After Farms venue generates as much or more inquiries than other venues in Florida. Plus, we have 8 locations so we provide you with far more exposure than if we had just one location. Our website generates more than 40,000 unique visitors per month, which makes us one of the leading wedding websites in Florida. As a leader in the industry, when you are one of our preferred vendors, you not only get the highest quality leads, but you also increase your credibility as well. The vendors on our list have done the math and they know that being in this program is a very wise marketing investment for their business. But just like many wedding venues drastically limiting the number of events they do each year, many vendors are content with fewer customers too. So this program is not for every vendor. It’s specifically for the very best vendors that want to grow their business with the highest quality customers.
“What happens if I don’t make a payment?”
If your credit card information changes and/or your payment doesn’t go through, we’ll notify you. If the payment isn’t successfully processed within 7 days, we’ll remove your listing.
“If I am willing to pay you, are you really going to turn down my application? Why do we have to be a good fit?”
We are the best wedding barn venue operator in the State of Florida. Our couples rely on our recommendations to ensure that they have an incredible event. The last thing we want is for a vendor that we recommended to drop the ball and ruin a couples’ big day. In fact, we have a Discouraged List (for vendors that have not met our couples expectations over and over again) and for those really bad actors, we have a Blacklist of vendors who are no longer allowed to step foot on any of our farms because of the way they treated our couples in the past. We are VERY serious about quality! Just because you are willing to pay us to join this program doesn’t mean you will get in. We do our due diligence to make sure you meet our criteria. We can only recommend the highest quality vendors.
“If I am a caterer that also provides bartending services, do I have to pay to be listed in each category?”
No. If you are listed as a caterer and also want to be listed in bartending, then you would only pay for the catering listing for that region. However, if a vendor is paying to be listed as a bartender only, the bartenders can’t also be listed as a caterer. To do so, the bartender would have to pay as a caterer to be listed in both categories. The same principle applies to photographers that provide videography services. The photographer can be listed in the videography category so long as they are paying for a photography listing. But a videographer can’t pay for videography and also be listed in photography.
