The Greater Orlando community, welcomes the newest wedding barn in Central Florida. And with it’s vineyard-like ambiance, classy rustic decor, and Clydesdale horses, Ever After Farms, is proving to be Central Florida’s new favorite wedding venue.
Wedding barns have become a popular choice for today’s brides, but in the Greater Orlando area, many times choosing a wedding barn can become a real hassle. For example, most local barns are not air conditioned. This might not be a big issue in some states, but for Orlando, New Smyrna, Edgewater, Mims, Port Orange, Daytona Beach, and Ormond Beach Brides, this could mean a very sweaty and hot wedding day.
Other issues that you will run into with many of the other barns in the Central Florida area include: No indoor plumbing, no rainy day plans, or they’re not handicap accessible.
Orlando’s Perfect Barn Venue
Ever After Farms is located on a You-Pick-Blueberry farm in Mims, Fl just 45 minutes from the Orlando International airport. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood, just off of US-1, and the closest hotels are only 15 minutes away. The farm itself is a gorgeous array of blueberry fields with a large oak tree outdoor ceremony site, a pond for “Notebook Style” paddleboat photos, and a white horse barn where their Clydesdale horses reside.
The owners of Ever After Farms decided that they wanted to fix the barn venue issues that many couples come across when trying to find a venue in the Orlando area. This was accomplished by many things, but the biggest being:
-
All Inclusive Pricing
Ever After Farms decided right away that they didn’t want to participate in the Nickel-and-Dime pricing model that many Orlando wedding barns charge. They wanted to provide a one package wedding where the pricing is based off of the calendar date, not on what you do or do not get. All of the decor, tables, centerpieces, chairs, photo ops, and so much more is included with every single booked wedding. Their only optional additional cost is for a horse and carriage rental for a Fairy Tale Ceremony Entrance.
This is a huge reason why so many Central Florida Brides are choosing this brand new venue for their upcoming wedding. Just last week, Ever After Farms booked a wedding with Winter Springs bride, Brittany who said, “This Venue has SOOOO much more included in their price than any other barn venue I have looked at.” She booked her date on the spot right after her tour.
2. Air Conditioning/Heating
Many Orlando area wedding barns have no AC or Heat. This could mean a very uncomfortable wedding in Florida, where it can be 80 degrees in December, or just 30 degrees in February. Ever After Farms has a fully insulated reception barn with both heat and air conditioning.
3. Rainy Day Plan
Ever After Farms noticed that many Central Florida wedding barns don’t offer an adequate rainy day plan, which is just crazy in Florida. They’ve solved this issue by providing large tents that cover the entire ceremony area, up to 200 people. They also have a front entrance tent, so that the bride and groom can still make a “Grand Barn Door Entrance”. Ever After Farms has a concrete asphalt driveway and their farmhands always smooth out any rain-holes before every wedding. They will even provide outdoor heaters for the patio cocktail area, if your wedding day gets a little chilly.
4. Indoor Plumbing that IS Handicap Accessible
Believe it or not, a lot of Central Florida barn wedding venues don’t have indoor plumbing. Some of them might even only offer portapotties or portable restroom trailers. And even if there are restrooms outside the reception barn, it can be a huge problem if it rains.
Another issue we recently saw with local barns, was handicap accessibility. Sarah, a bride from Clermont, had been looking for a barn wedding venue in the area that could accommodate her wheelchair bound father. She had looked at ELEVEN other barn venues in the Orlando area but NONE of them were truly wheelchair friendly. Most of these other venues didn’t have handicap accessible restrooms. Others had rough ceremony sites that would make maneuvering a wheelchair difficult. One they really liked, had an upstairs bridal suite, so her father couldn’t participate in those special before ceremony moments.
Ever After Farms has indoor plumbing, and there is even a private bathroom in the bridal suite. Two of their restrooms are ADA compliant and they are a one story barn. When Sarah and her mother toured the facility they were overjoyed that they finally found a venue that could easily and comfortably accommodate the bride’s father.
5. Decor, Decor, and More Decor
All of the smaller wedding details, can really add up to a giant wedding expense. Especially, if you love all of the rustic decor ideas on Pinterest. That is what is so great about Ever After Farms, they’ve gone above and beyond with their Wedding Decor. They provide tons of rustic signs, 5 different options for centerpieces, table numbers, a table seating chart, ceremony signs, hanging mason jars, cake/cupcake stands, and so much more. You have to see this venue in person, to fully appreciate the amount of extras provided at NO additional cost.
