The 36,000+ blueberry plants are getting some love this summer. First, we did a very deep trim which not only improved the health of the plants but also ensured that the berries grow at easy picking level come next spring. Second, we doused it with plenty of fertilizer so that those freshly trimmed bushes would grow big and strong. Third, we manually plucked all the weeds from the field, which took a ton of many hours but the farm looks incredible now. As well as a myriad of other improvement courtesy of a blueberry consultant that we hired to coach us on how to make our farm produce the best it can. Come April 2018, you’ll taste the difference and our blueberries will be better than ever!
