Ingredients
1 Cup plain flour
1 Tsp. baking powder
½ Tsp. salt
½ Cup milk
½ Cup sugar added to blueberries
2 Cups sweetened blueberries
¾ Stick butter
Directions
Make batter of first 4 ingredients. Melt butter in 2 quart baking dish in oven and pour batter over butter, spreading it over dish. Add sugared blueberries. Bake at 400 degree until brown.
The batter rises to the top to form a crust that has seeped through the berries and flavored them. Any sweetened berries or fruit may be substituted. Fruit can be heated in a little water for more juice before pouring fruit over batter. More sugar may be added if desired.
