1 ½ Cup sugar
2 ½ Cup sifted flour
2 Tsp. salt
2 quart fresh blueberries
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. butter
4 Tsp. baking powder
½ Cup shortening
2/3 Cup milk
1 Egg, slightly beaten
Combine 1 ½ cups sugar, ½ cup flour, 1 tsp. salt, berries and lemon juice; pour into greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Dot with butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until mixture is hot and bubbly. Combine remaining ingredients; drop by spoonfuls onto blueberry mixture. Bake for 30 minutes longer or until biscuits are browned.
